Software Engineer- Des Moines

Software Engineer- Des Moines

Support Client initiatives for end to end development of financial application, web and service systems using Object Oriented, Multi-tiered architectures. 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with business, systems analysts to help define requirements, identify gaps and drive scalable and robust solutions.
  • Participate in the architecture, design and development of Financial applications and processes.
  • Participate in Peer-to-Peer code reviews, establish development and testing best practices and procedures.
  • Support client application systems, workflows and batch processes.
  • Establish, monitor and maintain high client satisfaction levels.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience with Object Oriented Programming preferably in C#
  • 1+ years of experience with SQL Server, Stored Procedures, SSIS
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science, MIS or related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with DevExpress library controls or any other 3rd party controls
  • Mobile Device - application development experience
  • Experience with Test Automation platforms (i.e. TestComplete) and complex test automation frameworks
  • Experience with Financial Systems (i.e. Charles River, Bloomberg, Eze Castle) 
  • Background in Technology, Accounting, Finance or Investments
  • Understanding of web architecture (sessions, cookies, cache)
